After My Surgery, My Sister-in-Law Shut Me Out

After undergoing serious surgery, I spent days alone in a hospital bed, hoping someone from my family would visit. But no one came—not even my brother or sister-in-law. I told myself they were just busy.

When I finally came home, my sister-in-law opened the door, stared at me, and then said I wasn’t welcome anymore. She threatened to call the police, accusing me of not contributing to the household and hiding money. She told me the only thing I owned was my body—and I should go enjoy it elsewhere.
