2/My SIL Threw Out the Colorful Ca

I couldn’t bear it. After the party, I planned a “Rainbow Riot” for Christmas. I rallied the family to bring colorful gifts, turning Brittany’s neutral Christmas into a bright, chaotic celebration. Evan loved it—his joy was infectious, and he ran around in his new superhero cape and toy car, happily surrounded by color.

Brittany, though visibly uncomfortable, couldn’t stop the fun. Watching Evan’s excitement reminded me that childhood isn’t about matching the decor—it’s about joy, mess, and color. This family isn’t living in beige anymore.
