Jay North, best known for playing the mischievous Dennis Mitchell in Dennis the Menace, passed away at 73 on April 6 after battling illness. Born in 1951, North became a household name at age 6, starring in the iconic CBS sitcom based on the comic strip. Despite his fame, Hollywood proved challenging, and after the show ended in 1963, North struggled with typecasting.

In the years that followed, he pursued a diverse career, including serving as a corrections officer. He later became involved with A Minor Consideration, an organization supporting young performers, after experiencing abuse from his guardian during his time on set.
