A series of devastating storms have wreaked havoc across the U.S., killing at least 17 people and leaving widespread destruction in their wake. Tornadoes, wildfires, dust storms, and severe thunderstorms have impacted numerous states, with 138 million people at risk from extreme weather.
On Friday night, tornadoes tore through the Midwest, killing over a dozen in Missouri, with additional fatalities reported in Texas and Arkansas. Winds reached hurricane-strength, creating deadly dust storms and fueling over 100 wildfires, while storms flipped cars and destroyed homes. Tornado warnings are in effect for several states, including Illinois, Missouri, and Arkansas, where entire homes were leveled.
